Gauge Roll Unit
The Gauge Roll Unit has been designed and developed to reduce the thickness of a continuous dough sheet, very accurately across the full width of the Forming Machine, and is usually located after a sheeting or laminating machine. Normally used in conjunction with a series of other gauge rollers, and the number and roller diameter is dependent upon the type of dough, linear operational speed and throughput of the process line. The Gauge Roll can process a variety of doughs from very soft doughs to hard cracker doughs, including low or no fat doughs. The unit is of modular construction, free standing and can be supplied to accommodate a variety of dough sheet widths.
